Q. What do I do with valuables while at the sessions?

A. We normally leave valuables in either yours or the instructor’s car but we would advise you not to bring any valuables if you can avoid it as they will not be cobvered against loss or damage.

Q. What happens if I get injured in a session?

A. The upmost care is taken to ensure you are not going to get injured. Unfortunately there will be times when people may get injured it goes with the territory. The instructors are first aid trained and will deal with any injuries as they occur. If you feel any twinges in your muscle or have any concerns that you are going to get injured bring it to the attention of the staff or just stop and sit out.

Q. How many sessions do I need to attend to see results?

A. We recommend to attend all three sessions per week however if you cannot attend all three just come to the ones you can and we can give you tips and advice on how to get out and exercise on your own when you can’t make it.

Q. I'm doing sessions three times a week but I seem to be gaining weight do you know why?

A. When you first start training it is not uncommon for people to put weight on this is due to the fact that you will be building new muscle tissue which weighs more that the fat you are shedding. The best thing to do is not weigh yourself but measure yourself around areas such as gut, thigh and chest or just take note of how your clothes are becoming too big for you.

Q. Am I going to get cold in the winter?

A. Yes but you will soon warm up during the session due to the heat your body produces during exercise, most people start off with warm kit on during the colder months but by the end of the warm up they have tied their jumper or fleece around their waist.

Q. I've just done my first session and my muscles are aching, Why?

A. The main reason for this is your body’s inability to process any excess lactic acid from your muscles which makes them feel sore and stiff this usually lasts for about 2 days. The more you exercise the better the body becomes at processing the lactic acid and the less you feel any soreness. To relive the soreness just repeat some stretches or go for a gentle jog to flush the lactic acid from your muscles.

Q. How long does a session last?

A. Every session is no more than 60 minutes long but can be shorter.

Q. How much does the class cost?

A. See our Fee's page

Q. Can I just turn up to any class I like or do I have to book in advance or something?

A. A courtesy phone call is always appreciated but not required just look at where we are going to be and show up.

Q. If I pay for two sessions a week, do I have to nominate which sessions I go to?

A. No just use the sessions up in the same calendar month if you wish to.

Q. If I miss a session, can I take that session the following week?

A. Yes as long as it is within the same Calendar month yes you can.

Q. Is it OK to just pay for each session rather than paying for the block?

A. Yes however it does cost £5 per session rather than £35 per month if you book in advance.

Q. Should I buy some new trainers?

A. If you have some already then no but if you don’t have a pair of running shoes it is advised to get a pair but don’t go spending a fortune you should get a mid range pair for £30 or less, check out the sales!!!

Q. Will I get shouted at?

A. As you are exercising in a group setting there will be times when the instructors will need to project their voices for everyone to hear but we will not shout at you directly as you are not a soldier and therefore won’t be treated like one.
